__ the 2025 Anthony Valentine Convention! ✨

Friends, we are at the beginning of a new year, and you all know what that means - it is time to stream Tony non-stop til we drop! Bring your snacks and a good attitude and get ready for an assortment of Tony TV. As usual, the convention will run for at least 12 hours so do not worry if you can't be there at the start - drop in whenever and for however long you like!

There is no set schedule for what we will be watching, but per tradition we will get one or two episodes of Raffles, Callan, Justice and Colditz into the mix, along with other various gems from Tony's television career. As usual, I will try to post updates on tumblr of what we're about to watch next, so keep an eye on my blog if there is something you're particularly keen on joining for.

This year's AVC will be held at hyperbeam.com, since our dear Caracal has left us. We have briefly checked the site out and it all seems to be working fine, but just be aware that it's going to be a bit of a test run! Creating an account is not necessary, however - upon entrance you will only be asked to enter a username.

The Prisoner sites have brief articles and i found one AI written mess but #that's it. despite appearing in multiple iconic series‚ often in significant and memorable roles‚ Rachel sadly never seems to have entered #the public consciousness. i think i truly became aware of her watching TPG‚ in a role which could have been thankless in lesser hands #(beleaguered wife of 'poor' Kenneth Bligh) but which she works wonders with‚ giving Justine the dignity and the spirit that Ken lacks. she #will probably be best remembered for her genuinely incredible Prisoner appearance (i cannot stress enough that her transformation in the #ep's final scenes is a chilling‚ gut punching acting masterclass) but i also want to rec her equally troubling (in a very different way)#support role in Spindoe (tw for some upsetting violence). and in Callan she is the complete opposite‚ a joyous guest spot as #as the sickly sweet‚ mildly poisonous and unabashedly flirtatious ex of Michael Jayston's potential security leak. she has only a minute or #two onscreen but she walks away with the entire episode in a beautifully studied bit of sultry character work

Patrick Mower really is no sort of replacement for Anthony Valentine, who's very much the leading man of Callanblr. It's not necessarily Mower's fault, but Valentine played a sociopathic public schoolboy who was equally happy playing cat's cradle or physically torturing someone, whereas one of Mower's first outings had him being beaten up by a Frenchman.

All that being said, I think we all must concede that your cliched spy outfit:
