Hayden González-Rossi from The Loudest Silence is aromantic asexual!
hi, yes, still alive and all that!
having a full time job sadly is actually taking up so. much. time. why do we do that to ourselves again? we should rethink that. anyways, today i started the loudest silence by sydney langford because i realised that i only finished one (1) book since the beginning of the year and i simply won't have that. so instead of really sitting my ass down to continue the common bonds anthology (there's a kickstarter for a second anthology by the editors btw, if anyone wants to support the project!), i was looking through my tagged books on libby and saw that this one didn't have a waitlist - it was a no brainer from there on.
i'm two chapters in and it's been good so far, i'm really excited to see where it's going and i already know it will make me Feel Things. so far i definitely want to slap sense into some of the side characters and i fear that will continue do be a thing shdkfj

New Releases of July!
(1/5/24)
For the record I'm not dead, but the holidays kicked my ass at both jobs harder than I anticipated and I've been horrendously sick off and on again. What little free time I have had has been put towards group collaborations related to d&d projects.
Also we had to put my dog down in the middle of it all so like... yeh. That hurt. Sorry it's taking longer than I wanted for the next chapter. Ya'll are always very understanding, it just gets frustrating sometimes not having enough energy/time/motivation to work on everything I want to.
In case y'all forget that I DO actually do art, here's the proof.
This lovely gal is Jenna Hollander, the leading lady of the excellent hobbit fanfic The Loudest Silence by @swaninprogress
I like her a lot bc she just like me fr fr (we even look very similar), and her -literal- inability to voice her feelings is at times painfully relatable to me, a chronic tongue-swallower.
I had a really strong visual of one of her outfits, and went into a fugue state trying to put it to paper.
this could out somebody.
