For having such a stupid concept, THE MILLENNIUM BUG has a lot going on. We have the Haskin family venturing into the deep dark woods, which

The Millennium Bug (2011) | Kenneth Cran
“When the Haskin family seeks refuge from Y2K hysteria in the isolated forests of the Sierra Diablos mountains, madness and terror find them there. Abducted by a vicious hillbilly clan, the Haskins fight for survival, but neither they nor the hillbilly Crawfords can comprehend the monstrous nightmare about to erupt from the bowels of the earth. “
MOVIE MINI REVIEW : The Millennium Bug
2011. USA. Réalisé par Kenneth Cran. Avec John Charles Meyer, Jessica Simons, Christine Haeberman…
THE MILLENNIUM BUG I saw this in the theatre last night. Absolutely disgusting and hilarious. The trailer makes it look bad, but not bad enough. It had tasteful practical effects; no CG monsters or blood. Only chromakey compositing. It felt like I was watching a combination of Evil Dead and The Ewok Adventure movies, but with hillbillies trying to bang teenage girls and crypto-biologists searching for giant insects yetis. Also the whole story set on January 1st, 2000, poking fun at the Y2K scare. Gotta see this if you can get your hands on a copy. Nothing like it.
