Cannot wait to see them again!
Outlaw-country outfit the Empty Bottles played a set with some friends Friday (Dec. 20) at Norman, Okla.'s Opolis. We stopped in to snap a few pictures.

No Age and New Fumes || Norman, OK
Finally an all ages indie show in Norman! Tomorrow night No Age plays with New Fumes, otherwise known as Daniel Huffman and the other half of my project Birdflower. Since the Opolis closed it's doors to those under 21 early this year, Norman has been fairly void of all ages touring indie shows. I am so happy to see The Norman Arts Council utilizing MAIN SITE's awesome bare space.
The show is 8 pm Wednesday, September 18 at Main Site Contemporary Art in Norman, Oklahoma. Cost $10 in advance / $12 the day of show.

"The Ancient Common Sense of Things" by Bishop Allen @ the Opolis
Girl Talk @ Opolis
So I've known about a "secret show" at the Opolis for 2 weeks. And I finally found out yesterday morning that that "secret show" was Girl Talk! Luckily I have the hook up and was able to get in without stand in a crazy line, as well as hook up a few friends. The Opolis is the smallest venue Gregg has played in 5 years. The place was truly bonkers. Here's some photos from the show, courtesy of Axe.
