I was all on the “hahaha Luke is small” mindset and then I googled it and Mark Hamill is 5′9″ and that’s actually a pretty normal height?  Poor kiddo is just surrounded by freakishly tall dudes that throw off the scale.

Star Wars Movies: *99% of the characters on-screen are Human*

Me: Ok, understandable, it's probably way cheaper to have primary characters be Human and save money on make-up...

Star Wars Cartoons: *Has like, 2 named Duros and Zabrak characters aside from the recurring antagonist who show up in 1 episode each, and nearly the entire cast is Human again*

Me: ...Ok, maybe throwing together some tweaked models to use even as background characters is too time consuming despite the fact that both races are very similar in shape I'm not an animation expert

Star Wars Video Games: *The vast majority of important characters are Human, Duros aren't even a playable race in the MMO*

Every day I pray someone with a lot of followers stumbles upon Dance Off with the Star Wars Stars/Hyperspace Hoopla and it just blows up on Tumblr because it is the most beautiful thing Disney has done with the franchise.
