the first time mizuki gets actually mad at ena, what happens?

you sent me Such a difficult one oh my… for any other pairing this would be an easy enough question to answer but they’re so… i dont think we have ever seen mizuki get seriously angry at any of the other characters in canon (iirc), and especially at ena. there have been a few times when she got a little bit annoyed (eg when ena called her a stamina freak (tho she laughed immediately) or when they were going to the movies the two of them and ena accidentally spoiled herself or when the rest of niigo ate her fries lmfao) but like. in this sense, mizuki is so so so very repressed. and she idolizes ena in a weird way, and even when ena is chewing her head off she just grins bc she never takes ena’s outbursts seriously (and when ena is seriously angry, mizuki’s first reaction is guilt).

so uhm…. i dont have any real canonical basis to found my answer on so i’ll speculate that ena notices this pattern. she yells at mizuki one time about a stupid thing and mizuki apologizes and ena is like you know what? you never get angry with me! i was the one in the wrong so get angry at me, tell me to piss off or smth!! and mizuki is just like sorry… sorry… and ena makes it a point to remind mizuki every time that she Should get angry with her sometimes. to not put her on a pedestal.

and it takes some time but eventually one day ena snaps at mizuki about another stupid thing and mizuki’s like “oh fuck off!” and ena freezes and turns to her very slowly… and she smiles at her and says, “oooh are you angry? you’re angry with me for real?” and mizuki actually is quite angry so she doesn’t want to smile and there’s a bit of a role reversal for a few secs as ena teases her about being mad and mizuki glares at her a bit…. smth like that….

if instead the first time she got angry was about smth serious, i think ena would freak tf out tbh. bc it’d be the first ever time mizuki gets angry so she wouldn’t know how to deal with it and we all know she doesn’t fare well when she doesn’t know what to do. so she’d get angry too. they’d have a terrible fight. and then they’d make up crying like babies and apologizing over and over and over and they’d both keep buying gifts for one another for like a week 😭

piling onto our earlier discussion about the first time mizuki gets seriously mad at ena then spirals, and considering how she doesn't actually know about ena's past in much detail, what if she mistakenly thinks that raising her voice like that was somehow reminiscent of ena's trauma?

honestly i think ena5 has torn down a lot of barriers between them. what i mean is that if they're a couple, i think their communication skills will be stellar, especially if they have been together a while. they know each other sooo well. so i think, if mizuki were to think that, she's bring it up at some point or ena would notice smth is off and she'd pry it out of her mouth. and they'd talk. and fix it. like i truly think those two will be such a gooood couple about these things fr!!
