i don’t think i’ve ever said this about a bouquet, but doesn’t this bouquet have character! it has bruno written all over it and i wouldn’t take it any other way.
bruno breaking out the box and landing it with this bouquet (ok, it’s not for everyone). is that even a real pineapple? i couldn’t tell ya, the closest thing i’ve seen to plants is the succulents i have in my home. if it is, where the heck did this guy find it? if it’s not, once again where did he get one. that’s bruno for you!
yes, mc it’s so him and that’s what makes it unique. a gift that tells you exactly who it was that gave it to you and that can eventually become the story to the kids (someone’s kids lol).
So, I watched Love Me Tonight [d: Rouben Mamoulian, 1932] cos I wanted to fill in some Mamoulian gaps, and it was a delight from start to finish (and I get the appeal of Maurice Chevalier now), very wittily filmed and the opening scene in particular is fabulous, but the best part was when everyone’s waking up singing ‘Mimi’ and THE PINEAPPLE does singing and dishevelled adorkableness and I never thought something like this could happen.
