I've been in the stranger things/Byler fandom ever since s4 came out and this is the first fandom I've ever been in where there's so many theories and analysis, I genuinely can't keep up with all of them. I struggle to remember everything. I remember back five months ago when we were figuring out what was going on with the van scene and now all of this has happened like the fandom history here is too extensive and I love it.

Hey so this AU is called Every Rose Has Its Thorns. It's a darker and semi-realistic AU It's where Maplehood Creek, a small town with a dark and intricate history, is so intertwined with a place called the pocket where monsters and proxies live it's almost like they're living side by side even though they're not. With a little place called Rosewood Preparatory School at the center of it all. Tabby Anderson, who was a former leader and esteemed Rosewood student has just lost everything recently. Deciding that there's nothing left for her in her town and Rosewood and running on her need to stay alive out of spite and long enough to keep the promises that she made to her friends, she decides to run away. Start over from scratch and give herself the second chance at life that she's always wanted. Little did she know that the opportunity of a lifetime would present itself one fateful night...

Join Tabby as she goes from lone runaway to proxy. As she goes through the process of figuring out this new life with her new acquaintances, goes through the mourning and healing process and struggling to accept her past and move on and goes on a really big mission to infiltrate a school to assassinate someone who's been trying to get Information on the Slenderman. However, things aren't as simple as they seem...As the mission turns complex and somehow connecting to Rosewood Prep and the dark ancient entity that resides there in the heart of the school. As to get rid of the person and the root problem they'd have to destroy the school and Rosewood Prep once and for all and for good. With one mystery unraveling one right after the other and with the help of some old and new friends can Tabby and her newfound friends figure it out and get the job done? Can Tabby finally learn to heal and move on to accept her new life? Can Tabby make the cut? Will she live long enough to accomplish her wishes? Would the proxies be willing to follow her down this strange and dark and wonderful path that she's on? When old loyalties die and new loyalties form and with Tabby's past, present, and future collides could Tabby be a part of something much bigger than she could ever hope for? Will Rosewood claim her and just be another body in the long line? or Will she become the hero that she once was yet again?

This AU is based on an RP I'm doing on Tumblr so updates will be slow.
