So Many Things To Be Learned Haha
one might be deluded into thinking that simply, singing couldn’t be that bad. we’ve even solved the mic issues and everything! it’s really going quite well!
Well.
One is me.
and me *really* cracks up upon hearing my own voice.
(it’s like. it’s so silly. oh my god this is going to take forever I keep cracking up ;w;)
hey. if you squeeze me i go squeak. i also expand grotesquely and warp before thine eyes, the odious goo of my viscera pooling within me, my skin stretched to its limits, flexible enough only to keep me alive long enough for you to release me
Slowly turning into John Egbert.

An excerpt from my journal 4/6/12:
"I think this is one of the most bittersweet moments i have had. Sitting in the Platt's beach house one last time with all the small group girls. I feel as if it is only necessary to end this journal where it began. To conclude my favorite journal in one of my most favorite places. There is a memory in every part of this house.
The back deck has held many a good conversation with Tay and with Mel. I have been sent out there on many occasions to "view nature".
The living room, where 8 girls are currently sleeping, have held 9 o'clock meetings filled with knowledge from Jes, decorating our tie-died t-shirts, watching movies waiting for it to turn midnight so we could "feel free" on the beach, getting scared out of our wits by ding dong ditchers, and fun dance parties while supper was being cooked.
The kitchen (my favorite) has memories of making this journal, sitting around the table playing nerts, sitting on the counter having Taylor FINALLY lick peanut butter of me and Connie's feet, throwing spaghetti on the wall to see if it would stick or not, sitting around the table with our eyes closed waiting for Jes to give us sweet earrings from Bogota, and feeling like a real family (which we have always been) washing dishes and cooking dinner.
Upstairs is where the fire alarm went off multiple times in the wee hours of the morning because it was broken, where i have spent many a times putting Aloe on my burnt little skin, where Holly, Connie, and I took our BA picture, and where I have silently laid on the bed thanking God for every single girl and trusting the process.
This is just inside. Outside there were awesome process conversations on the golf course, behind the water tower, and on the beach watching shooting stars with Jes. There was also the beach and the many many memories that went on there.
That is why this last page is so bitter. It is not only ending this journal but it is ending a chapter of my life. Not necessarily with these people, we still have time together, but at this place. I have grown to know the blessing of pihswollef and that it is not promised. Apart of my process has been in this place.
But this is also the beauty of life. My journal will end, but my process will continue."
(kudos if you actually read this whole thing)
