This small paragraphs gave me chills. You see, for me, Razorback will forever be Julie’s smart, beautiful ship. The pinnace was her pride and it ended up her legacy. She would have approved of the Razorback’s fate, being used in the same way she would have, flying in at the right moment, in the right place to save the characters and shift the balance in their favour. The fact that the writers made Alex say the same words Julie used in Leviathan Wakes makes this small moment so memorable. To her the Razorback hadn’t been the whim of a rich kid; it had been an achievement; and it continued to make her proud. I’m just imagining Julie smiling with delight and approval, entrusting Alex with the Razorback, knowing that from that moment on, he really understood what the ship truly was.

So... cat’s out of the bag.

I got to take the Razorback... for a spin.

When I visited set over the summer, my friend and I were given a rare and incredible opportunity to enjoy a few quick literal spins on the Razorback practical set. We weren’t allowed to talk about it until everyone saw it, and I didn’t even get the pictures and videos until last week. But given my trip, I have only just remembered to actually sit down and post them.

I DO have video, so you guys can see me cackle and babble in delight and nerves.

The Razorback pit crew were amazing and kind and made us feel really welcome into their space and safe on their ship. I’m so incredibly grateful to everyone who made this happen. Even 8 months later, I am stunned as hell.
