Today has been quite a day, but I could not have expected this to happen. What an honor to be on this list with so many phenomenal and influential people. Not only that, I'm on this list with people I know! Woodfin and I went to Morehouse together! Stacey Abrams was the campaign manager for a mayoral campaign I worked on! Fahamu was on my podcast last month! (I also had Chance's creative director on my show too.) Anyway...wow, what an honor! Thank you not only to The Root, but for all the people who nominated me!
