The killers reaction to it before and after finding out( please add bubba and Jason, I love them). Thank you

In honor of Jason coming to DBD, I decided to write some headcanons and answer some requests. Enjoy!

Bubba Sawyer

When he spots you during your first trial together, he notices something is different about you compared to the other survivors. But what specifically?

As he’s watching you, he doesn’t understand what he’s looking at, but knows you seem to be carrying something important.

He’ll seek you out while outside of trials. He watches you from a distance.

He tries to be sneaky about it, but isn’t. He’s been caught numerous times by you and other survivors from peaking around trees near the survivor camp. Some of the survivors went to talk to Evan (The Trapper) about Bubba lurking near the survivor camp because it was making them uncomfortable.

He constantly worries about you and your unknown object when you fast vault windows and pallets, or jump from high heights. He’ll make noises of distress when you get injured. He’s scared the important object you carry around will get broken and cause you to be heart broken.

He gets upset if the killers go rough on you in trials. Will confront the killers that treat you too harshly and start babbling nonsense. They get super confused at why Bubba, of all people, is upset with them.

All the killers are trying to figure out why Bubba is acting strange, but, even Bubba doesn’t know he’s acting strange either. He just is.

Unexpectedly, during a trial he had with you, you were working on a generator. Then, all of a sudden, the object fell out from under your hoodie to reveal a giant stuffed bunny. Bubba was coming straight for you when it happened.

You froze, mentally dying from embarrassment that a killer saw you with your plushie. However, instead of judging you, Bubba picked up your plushie. He examined the plushie carefully, squeezing one of its paws.

At that moment, you were struggling with anxiety over the possibility of getting judged for having your comfort item with you. However, what you didn’t expect was Bubba hugging your plushie. You let out the biggest exhale of relief ever.

There was one problem: he refused to give your plushie back to you. I guess better than him judging you for bringing a plushie into a trial.

Bubba becomes absolutely obsessed with the plushie.

When he sees you, he’ll look for the plushie before ever acknowledging you. He needs to see the big giant bunny! He’ll even greet it like it’s alive too.

He’ll get excited when he sees that you put a new accessory on your bunny plushie.

He’ll carry it around whenever you let him.

He once kidnapped your bunny plushie because he wanted to go show it flowers in one of the realms. The survivors spent 3 hours looking for it before having to go ask the killers for help. Eventually, everyone found him sitting in the Red Forest Realm with the plushie wearing a flower crown. He looked sad and guilty about it.

He’ll make gifts just for the plushie such as, tiny flower crowns, necklaces made of leaves, and bracelets out of shiny objects. Be glad it isn’t human remains.

He gets extremely upset if the plushie gets dirty or damaged. He’ll carefully brush leaves and dirt off it.

He considers himself the plushie’s honorary uncle. Nobody has the heart to tell him otherwise.

Jason Voorhees

Unlike Bubba, he immediately knows and understands that you got something hiding under your hoodie.

He doesn’t care for the object itself. He cares more about the fact you want to protect this certain object, so he starts keeping an eye on you.

You may catch him staring at you from across the realm during a trial, making you wonder why he’s looking directly at you. However, outside of trials, he watches you from afar. He’s never close enough that you’ll notice him stalking you, but he’s also close enough to intervene if necessary for whatever reason. He doesn’t entirely know himself yet.

If another killer is overly rough with you, he gets extremely aggressive towards that killer. They never mess with you again because they don’t want their asses jacked up. All the killers know what Jason did to the unknown. They don’t want the smoke. However, they do notice that he only acts that way towards them if they did something to you. No one is brave enough to ask about it though.

You pick up when you know you're in trouble because Jason is always nearby. Although, you’re trying to figure out if it's a coincidence or not. (Y/N), it definitely isn’t.

When Jason found out you were hiding a plushie, it was a complete accident. You got hooked and while struggling, your stuffed doggie tumbled out of your hoodie and landed in the dirt. Jason saw it all happen.

He walks over to where you're hooked. He looks down at the doggie, then up at you, and then back down at the doggie. There was a long, awkward silence. You were mentally cursing yourself for bringing your plushie until Jason crouches and picks it up.

He brushes the leaves and dirt off of the doggie’s fluff. He straightened one of its bent ears and then placed it back into your hands.

He then turns around and leaves to hunt down your teammates.

Now, when he sees you in trials, he’s always checking to make sure you have your comfort doggie plushie with you. He knows it’s important to you and notices immediately if it’s missing. He realizes it’s missing before you do.

If he finds it lying somewhere, he picks it up and returns it to you. Somehow it is always in perfect condition.

He always cleans it before he returns it if it is muddy. Or, if it gets caught on something, he carefully untangles it without damaging the fabric. Also, if it is wet, he’ll leave it somewhere to dry for you to find later.

He never expects a thank you. Well, it’s because he never sticks around long enough to receive one.

There was one night that you woke up and found the doggie sitting neatly beside you after accidentally leaving it somewhere. Jason is nowhere in sight, but you know it was him.

Another time, Frank, the Legion Leader, grabbed your plushie and played keep away with it. Let’s just say that Frank’s antics didn’t last long. Jason appeared less than a minute later and gave him a serious ass whooping.

Over time, Jason gets attached to the doggie himself. Not because it’s a toy, but because he associates it with you.

One day, you find Jason sitting by himself with your doggie next to him. He had picked it up to return it to you and simply never put it down. It was the cutest sight ever.

You trust Jason more than anyone else in the realm and Jason trusts you. You guys become best friends!

There’s also an unspoken rule known between the other survivors and killers: Don’t touch the doggie.

Im lowkey OBSESSED with Pendog Creative Library, so I had to draw my little shadow with the character who inspired her design, Slishy Slasher!

The Slasher is legit one of my favorite characters, and not just design wise. She’s incredibly well written and has so much depth to her! I also have to give Slasher and Jayne some credit for helping me with some other stuff, so that might explain my attachment 😅
