Since I rewatched Sorcerer's Apprentice 2010 I have some ideas for au.
I'm really sad that nobody gives a damn about Drake. I think Balthazar and Veronica is could visit his penthouse and Veronica would glance at the young man with curiosity and could've even be motherly to him and touch his face gently, revives a young Morganian.
I think Drake would be a bit confused when he will wake up and noticing Balthazar Blake and Veronica.
'What happened? I only remember how Horvath saying something about Parasite Spell and then I felt pain.' A young Morganian spoke slowly. 'I have bad news for you; Horvath drained your life and magical energy and stolen your ring. A good news that we're revived you and that Dave defeated Morgana." Balthazar lectured. 'Are you're a apprentice of Horvath? I'm really glad to meet with you. My name is Veronica. I'm sorry that Horvath did it to you." a wonderful lady spoke.
"I don't want to see or hear of him anymore!" Drake shouted angrily. Veronica touched his face gently. 'It's over now. Don't be in pain no more.' Drake softened as he looks at Veronica, she was such a comfort and so motherly to his troubled heart. 'Thank you for saving me.' Drake lowered his head a bit feeling that he don't deserves it. Veronica smiles fondly. 'What's your name?' 'Drake… Drake Stone…' he replied. 'I hoping that it's not our last time that we're see each other, Drake.' Veronica touched his hands gently. Balthazar was stunned and confused by her actions.
Balthazar making Veronica a slight gesture that they're should talk to each other on their own. Veronica nodded and leaves Drake on his own. 'What was that?' he asked. 'This young man is hurting. I wanted to help him. Don't you see this young man just was manipulated by Horvath?' 'I see it clearly but I don't trust this guy anyway.' 'I believe that Drake is a good person deep down.' Veronica replied. 'I'm not sure about that but we'll see.' Balthazar smiles at her.

Balthazar magically teleported Dave and Becky to Dave's lab when Drake and Veronica talked. 'Hey, what's going on?' Dave glanced at the group. 'Oh, how we're get here?' Becky was surprised. 'Whoa! What's this guy doing here?' Dave expressed. 'Relax, Dave.' Balthazar spoke. 'How I suppose to calm down!? Horvath wanted to kill Becky. They're both wanted to kill us!" Dave shouted. 'Just listen to him.' Veronica stepped closer to Drake protectively. 'You wasn't there when---' Dave spoke to Veronica. 'Oh, what's wrong, Dave? I don't deserve forgiveness? What do you know about me at all?' Drake walked closer towards Dave with rage. 'I was on my own all my life! I haven't a loving mentor like you! Horvath betrayed me…' Drake clenched his first to hit Dave but then changed his mind and turned away. Veronica glanced at a young Morganian with sadness. Dave was shocked, he stared at Drake speechless. 'Nevermind. I'm better go.' Drake starts to walk away. Becky looked at Drake and then at Dave. 'Who's that guy?' 'I don't trust him.' Dave said menacingly. Veronica chases after a young man. Drake turned his face to the sorceress. 'I think Dave will forgive you someday. They're need more time.' 'I don't care what they're thinking about me. Unless I'm caring what you would think of me.' Drake looks away. 'Can I join you? Where's you going?' Veronica asked. 'I think you'd like to visit Chinatown. Shall we?' Drake smiled. 'It would be great.' Veronica nodded.
