ARTIST RESEARCH- James Casebere
Sylvia helped me find the book “James Casebere- The Spatial Uncanny” in the library. Casebere creates liminal uncanny space by producing and photographing miniature models of interiors. I also like that he sometimes floods these miniatures and the way he photographs them, adding shadow. This idea is something I may take inspiration from and try to make a miniature work setting, and then flood it to convey the idea of “drowning in work”.
