Just Saw this, and I am terribly curious about peoples thoughts:

Now there are Objectively wrong answers to this, which I'll discuss below the cut:

Wrong Answers:

Travel with Rincewind: Sure, you get to see the sights, observe things that most people never will. But that's because you are in the middle of an Apocalypse (possibly an apocryphal one!). You will be running and stressed the entire time!

Patrol with Vimes: Ok, not necessarily bad. But 99% of the time, you are just going to be a cop on patrol. Do.... you want to spend your evenings being a cop? (The other 1% would be high stress but cool, though with a decent chance of Death)

Scam with Moist: I get the impression that one doesn't really scam with Moist, rather you happen to be aware of the fact that Moist is scamming, and be in the area. A tad too much of a chaotic "I'm doing it my way on the fly!" person to be a good partner during a scam. Too high a chance of being the fall guy.

Good Answers:

Train with Sweeper: Do I need to justify how awesome becoming a time monk is? Addmitedly small chance you'll just be another sweeper, but still....

Learn from Granny: The greatest witch ever? Yes Please!

Learn from Susan: It's not bad per se, she is a great teacher, but she seems to only teach elementary - middle school subjects, so....?

Lobsang gulped freezing air and fell onwards –

- where the light was suddenly a calm pale blue and Lu-Tze was trotting gently between the frozen carts and unmoving people around the city’s gate.

‘See? Nothing to it,’ said the sweeper. ‘Just maintain, that’s all. Nice and steady.’

It was like balancing on a wire. It was fine if you didn’t think about it.

‘But all the scrolls say you go to blue and violet and into the black and than you hit the wall.’ said Lobsang.

‘Ah, well, scrolls,’ said Lu-Tze, and left it there, as if the tone of voice said it all. ‘This is Zimmerman’s Valley, lad. It helps if you know it’s here. The abbot said it’s something to do with … what was it? Oh, yeah, boundary conditions. Something like … the foam on the tide. We’re right on the edge, boy’

‘But I can breathe easily!’

‘Yeah. Shouldn’t happen. Keep moving about though, otherwise you’ll exhaust all the good air around your body field. Good old Zimmerman, eh? One of the best, he was. And he reckoned there was another dip even closer to the wall, too.

‘Did he ever find it?’

‘Don’t think so.’

‘Why?

‘The way he exploded gave me a hint. Don’t worry! You can maintain the slice easily here. You don’t have to think about it. You’ve got other things to think about! Keep an eye on those clouds!’

Having specialized ammo can be a pain in the ass when tired and hungry.
