Music: ‘Friday’ (Hindi) by the band Goldspot Video: Last scene from ‘The Graduate’ Mixed by Das Naiz This last scene is iconic and even though I’ve not seen the movie yet (!), I remember how it was the first time I’d come across a long shot that displayed the honesty of human thought (very rare in Bollywood). The feeling that the upward curve of a relationship could soon be replaced with boredom and drudgery. As for the song, my friend in college had this hindi version on her itunes list of ‘Shower’ songs and we listened to it for weeks together. Soon after I found a video of the lead singer Siddharth Khosla singing the song to some ducks in the park and that established Goldspot as one of my favourite bands at some point.
