After setting up for an onsite demo, I was talking to the project owner in the conference room, waiting for everyone else to arrive, when I noticed this giant pile of post-it note cubes in all different colors, all mixed together. And I was like. No. Absolutely not.

So I reached over and, while still chatting, got them all sorted by color and then lined my color stacks up in ROYGBIV order, nice and tidy.

Project owner: Ah. I see you have a touch of the 'tism as well.

Me: Whoops.

Project owner: Probably half the people that will be in this room do too, you're among friends.

Of course, being part of this generation we all are part of this. Weve been this and we do this. But this is also one thing I'd like us to do. This aint a campaign but more of self-awareness.

I personally, Im so private of my account. I filter my albums and post public very seldom, that is a post that has nothing to do about me, my friends and family, maybe a funny non-sense, or a campaign like yolandas.

Im actually more open here than my fb. We fail to notice how magical and beautiful world is because were always looking down. Good thing my phone isnt that smart that still do the asking, I may have my pdfs open but I cant use my map, or maybe I just dont know how. I love asking, i love looking straight to the eye of strangers. Im interested to everybodys story and Im a huge fan of whirlwind romance. I love candids. I love taking picture and not be the one on the picture. I want to look at the view, enjoy it then see how I could share it to people the way i see it.

First, when Im on a date, I don't want my friend to connect to the fb world. Im a jealous friend, I want all the attention to be mine because mine is all his. You can check your account anytime after diba?

Second, I take picture for remembrance. Not just for the sake of picture taking. Because in the end of the day, its the talk and the connection that matters. I dont think I can settle with a facebook-whore :D

Third, the world of self-interest, self-image and self promotion. I think Im sort of guilty of this. Well anyway, I don't post my selfies on fb. Well, at least not on my known account. I actually put it here. Some sort of a campaign for foreigners to come and let others see how beautiful Philippines is. I dont JUST take picture of me, its not me, its the background that I wish you see. And i think its a talent.

Fourth, I tell story. Not just flat picture but the deeper meaning why, how, when, where and who's in the picture. I dont rant, I dont check in, I dont post my whereabouts. Im too shy to tell people.

Fifth, because people are too easy to reach. I keep my privacy and I love it when people see it a mystery. I love playing other peoples feelings and emotions, dont get me wrong, and maybe that is why I love being ask why, how, where.

TIP:

I put all my pictures on my private fb account, super private, no friends. Then I filter pictures to post on my known account.

Also, I dont check-in, because aside that Im too shy, i find it weird, and its just too loud, and too updated. I sometimes don't mind getting tagged, but I prefer not. It usually depends.

Dont picture when I wear something I find too sexy. I want to just enjoy the outfit, feeling comfortable with it. No need for picture when too much skin is out. Again, Im just too shy.

For mystery, I dont tag friends at times.

Try a day not texting people, just wait for someone to text you. Of course, if thats applicable for you. And no fb, you can live! Have some good sleep and read some heartwarming books.

Meet a friend, dont just send kumustas on text. Talk to them, reconnect. Ask, plan for a date, a travel.

Life is an adventure! Travel alone. Talk to strangers, smile to them. Help the needy, plant trees, do your job. Save, invest and shop. Share your happiness to your family, friends and strangers who deserve it.

You are rich when you give. :)

Marissa Mayer, one of the top executives at Google, will be the next chief executive of Yahoo, making her one of the most prominent women in Silicon Valley and corporate America. The appointment of Ms. Mayer, who was employee No. 20 at Google and was one of the few public faces of the company, is considered a surprising coup for Yahoo, which has struggled in recent years to attract top flight talent in its battle with competitors like Google and Facebook. Ms. Mayer, 37, had for years been responsible for the look and feel of Google's most popular products: the famously unadorned white search homepage, Gmail, Google News and Google Images. More recently, Ms. Mayer, an engineer by training whose first job at Google included computer programming, was put in charge of the company's location and local services, including Google Maps, overseeing more than 1,000 product managers. She also sat on Google's operating committee, part of a small circle of senior executives who had the ear of Google's co-founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin. With her appointment as the president and chief executive of Yahoo, Ms. Mayer joins a short list of women in technology companies to hold the top spot. The elite club includes Meg Whitman, the chief executive of Hewlett-Packard, and Virginia Rometty, the head of I.B.M. Another senior woman in Silicon Valley, Sheryl Sandberg, is Facebook's chief operating officer.

P.S. — She's pregnant! It's exciting to see an accomplished woman like her take a big step in her career and in motherhood at the same time. And it's refreshing to see that Yahoo stood behind the best candidate for the job, no matter what her personal circumstances were.
