Wizards always recount battles as these grand feats of summoning. Fireballs and lightning raining down. Aural monsters clashing until finally one wizard is overwhelmed and destroyed utterly. But, since non-mages can't see magic, to most onlookers it's just two old men staring intently at each other until one of them collapses from a heart attack.

I asked my partner something she didn't know so I was gonna ask her to look it up for me (I was busy making dinner, hands utterly covered in oil). But I realized she probably already was and asking her to do something she was already doing would annoy her.

So she was taking a long time and I realllllly wanted to ask. But I also knew that was just my anxiety talking and I just needed to trust her to do it. And like a bolt from Zeus himself, words came into my head

8. Favorite accessory you own?

29. an adventure you've been on?

8. All of my thigh highs. Most especially my maroon and blue striped ones (maroon base, blue stripes get thinner as you move down). Also these super cute mushroom earrings that i always forget i have until i see them in hanging the bathroom while i'm getting ready to go out.

29. I moved cross country in my car. I could've done it in 3 days, but took a 4th to stop at arches national park along the way which was stunning. The whole drive was pretty amazing, getting to watch the landscape over nearly 2000 miles.

Update on the color game. Pitch black room (bathroom) phone at ~80% brightness. I held my phone sideways instead of vertical. Apparently my eyes like horizontal lines better than vertical.

Just got a notification "Google couldn't confirm that you're an adult, so some account settings have changed." It turned safe search on (and I turned it right back off) and probably did some other things. This is irritating, but it's also kinda funny because I got the notif while actively writing smut.
