OH MY GOSH I HAVE BEEN WAITING to buy The Txlips’ debut album (since I learned it was going to be released on July 31, 2020, but its release was delayed and from what Bandcamp said it seems like physical copies will be shipped out starting tomorrow?) and helpfully they are now on Bandcamp so I just bought their album! Apparently I’m the first person to support them on Bandcamp, fdkghikdghkhgk but I think they JUST got on Bandcamp in general so...
ANYWAY, DO PLEASE CONSIDER SUPPORTING THIS TOTALLY AMAZING AMERICAN ROCK BAND THAT IS A NATIONAL, ALL-BLACK WOMEN COLLECTIVE. THEY’RE AMAZING and Guitar Gabby, their lead guitarist/frontperson/primary songwriter/manager/founder, is AMAZING, too.
And if you need somewhere familiar (as in, a cover of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”) to start with before delving into their original material, consider this, which definitely speaks for itself:

Ah jeez AH JEEZ I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. (It delays the intro of the song ~a minute but it’s so worth it to hear the whole thing as I assume they intended!!)
