it's insane how sports kits and jerseys have gotten just. so much worse. across the fuckin board

#kia.exe #hockey and baseball have been the most resistant to this enshittening because they're sports that inherently counter any sort of change to+#the uniforms #(and in the nhls case because the league is boring and teams so rarely come out with special jerseys)#but even then. with winter classic jerseys and city connect jerseys the designs are just so ugly most of the time #looking at football uniforms from the 70s and 80s and there's something just so pleasing about them. the longer pants and the dual-toned+#socks combined with baggier jerseys make for such a gorgeous silhouette #basketball... these teams release new kits every year and they're always minimalistic and AWFUL!!!#did you design these jerseys in POWERPOINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#don't get me started on soccer man.#it's like. i know some of these have changed because of improvements made for safety or efficiency #but can we not make them look good too??????
