WIP Big Bang/WIP Reverse Bang 2026 - Round 3 Of Fic Claims & Art Claims Are Now Open
Round Three of art claims for WIP Big Bang/fic claims for WIP Reverse Bang is now open! You may claim three fic projects and/or three art projects this round, and you may claim something for both event (ie, you can claim a fic for WIPBB as well as an art project for WIPRB). Dragon Age: The Veilguard #036 Title: to want something more Pairing/Characters: Ashur | The Viper/Tarquin Rating: Mature | M Warnings/Tags: No Warnings apply. canon-typical violence, mentions of societal homophobia/transphobia, references to a fictional religion, Tarquin is a trans man whose genitals aren't specifically described, non-explicit sex scenes Summary: The first time that Tarquin and Ashur have sex, it's almost by accident, the sort of impulsive decision that one makes while running from Venatori and having to hide. If they continue finding excuses to keep having sex afterwards, Tarquin is convinced that it's because that's convenient for Ashur, since they are friends and neither of them has any time for a relationship.
At first, Tarquin tries to convince himself that he doesn't have feelings for Ashur beyond friendship. When that fails, he's still convinced that Ashur doesn't have feelings for him, so nothing is going to change. Even if they were in love, nothing could change, because Ashur isn't just himself, he's both the Imperial Divine and the leader of the Shadow Dragons, so Tarquin is sure that they could never have a relationship. But overhearing a fragment of a conversation between Ashur and Maevaris makes Tarquin realize that they can't wait for a better society in Tevinter to be happy,
