The prompt list is HERE! Two prompts for each day! You can use both or just one for each of the days.
Below are the alternate prompts, which can be used in place of any of the daily prompts:

Introducing "No Romo" Fest: a creative celebration of aromanticism 💚
Let's celebrate Valentine's Day with our own definition of love (or a lack thereof)! No Romo Fest is a creative event taking place from February 8th to 14th, open to anyone and everyone who would like to center aromanticism in their work.
Works can be posted under the #no romo fest tag and/or in the AO3 collection throughout the week.
Guidelines & (optional) prompts below the cut:
Guidelines
Works must feature aromanticism in some way.
All fanworks & original works, all mediums are welcome. (RPF is also fine as long as the subject is a public figure ❤️)
Prompts are optional and up to interpretation.
Works must be your own; plagiarism and AI-generated works are forbidden.
There are no content restrictions, but please include relevant content warnings on your work.
Cross-posting to other events is okay as long as the other event allows it.
Lastly, do not police other creators’ interpretations of aromanticism; it is a broad identity that can mean many different things to different people.
Prompts
aroace / aroallo
partnering / non-partnering
friendship / family
self discovery / coming out
non-monogamy / relationship anarchy
lovequeer / loveless
pride flag / green & white
Discussion Prompts
(Although the event is open to all, these are meant for arospec individuals specifically!)
What does aromanticism mean to you?
How did you discover your arospec identity?
Do you identify with any more specific labels, or "just aro"?
We said we were done with microfics (that was a lie). We said 2024 was the last fest (um, well). But in this crazy year of 2026, we are back and we are better than ever! If you were with us for previous iterations, first of all, welcome back! Second of all, things are going to look a little different this year.
So, let’s get to it! What’s happening with Microfic May 2026?
Microfic May is a multi-fandom, open prompt challenge that encourages the creation of microfiction.
We define microfics as works of fiction that are 50 words or less. However, this limit is merely a suggestion. We accept all lengths!
This is a multi-fandom event open to all characters, ships, ratings, genres, and content.
Participants must be aged 18+ and follow DLDR, SALS, and YKINMKATO etiquettes. (What does this mean?)
The use of AI is prohibited! If we find out you have used AI during any part of the writing process, you will be banned from the fest and your works will be removed from the collection.
We have 32 prompts that are split onto 4 mini bingo cards. Pick a card and get started! If you’re feeling extra ambitious, writing one prompt per day will complete all cards.
Don’t like a prompt? Each bingo card comes with one Alternate prompt option.
To submit a work, add it to our collection on AO3 Microfic May 2026 or post it on Tumblr with the tag #microficmay2026. Feel free to mention us at @microficmay, but we will only be reblogging completed bingo cards at the end of each week.

10 Days To 1K is a multi-fandom short fic writing challenge where the word count is the point. Each day, participants will publish fics that meet the required word count — Day 1 is 100 words, Day 2 is 200, Day 3 is 300 and so on, until we get to 1K on Day 10. The event’s prompt bingo card provides inspiration, as writers can choose to fill any prompt on any day.
In this third iteration of the 10 Days to 1K fest, the theme for the prompts is WHIMSY (though your fics do not need to fit this theme!)
