PR0T0TYPE is a big can of worms though so I’m not really sure where to start… Uhmmm. Have you heard of Xamidi Biotechnology? It’s a big ol company that manufactures a lot of drone models nowadays.

Basically, a looong time ago when they first started that whole project they made one guy who was like the half-baked guinea pig test tube baby they experimented on. That’s PR0T0!! It broke out of the lab and some other stuff happened but it’s here now with Vrayan.

“I have heard of them yes, I AM a world class bioengineer after all”

Aaand, well. Uh, she kinda dumped Eln the day after new sweep. Then while out on a job was attacked by an abuser from her past. She's safe now, and the guy's been put down, but she's been... In better condition mentally.

“As this came after your previous comments I’m led to assume she dumped him because of her possibly red feelings for her drone moirail?”

“Oh my baby, I wish I could help you…”

Ok, well. She recently gained a new moirail. It's from a similar background. Though it's part drone instead of part lussus. They serm to understand each other a lot. Honestly it's very cute.

Been spending a lot of time with it, and seems to be dipping a bit into a warmer quad.

“Hmm, I see”

Not to butt in, but considering that Vrayan’s new moirail has like GPS in its brain it was luckily able to get there real fast. It managed to scare the guy off but came back later to take care of him :)

(It bit the guy’s head off)

“That’s comforting to know, thank you. I do not believe we’ve met before, would you care to share some tea with me? Perhaps tell me more of this new… moirail of hers?”

It's a bit of a story but I'll try to summarize. Bare with me, we didn't see too much of that ourselves. It's someone she was tortured by sometime after you freed her and before she moved in with Elnric and Nyctea.

She originally thought she'd killed him in her escape, but he survived and found her again. Hurt her badly before her moirail found them and presumably fought him off to rescue her.

We know Nyctea and PROTO dealt with him sometime after getting Vrayan home.

Huh, interesting. Do you think they rushed the decision after realizing this then? Or do you think this was for the best?

“I think that’s between them, but I do know a fair bit about my descendant, and I can’t imagine her forcing a break up just because their difference in quads”

“Well by this point in our lives there’s quite a bit of quad smearing across the board between us. But when we first started dating… I’d always been Pitch for him, and he was very VERY Red for me.”
