@awkward-snake-girl Today is not a good day. If he knew what day of the week it was, he would not like this day. because on this day, all the dumpsters within a few blocks of his park are emptied. Which means he has to go further away to scavenge. Further away means out of the area he is comfortable with. He doesn't like it, not one bit. Still the child needs food and it is getting colder. He could go and raid the donation bins for warm things. But food will be a little harder to find. Still the child makes his way to where he knows there are a few donation bins he can squeeze into. But first he needs some food. So the first dumpster between two restaurants seems to be the best place to look. The alley alone smells good. Licking his lips, he goes to the first dumpster, looks around and then hops up and inside. Even the trash smells good!
