I had the idea of Thrawn taking a Pic from Pryce while they shared a caf there.
And then @myevilmouse has a story to tell:
Grand Admiral Thrawn drank caf, but he never really liked it. It was simply a practical thing, bestowing energy, alertness; the flavor was a necessary obstacle to achieve the desired result. Some said caf was an acquired taste, however it was one his palate resisted, even after all these years.
He’d mentioned this in passing to the Governor. Just an observation, yet she took it as a mission, insisting upon relocating their logistics meeting to the shipboard caf shop.
She’d ordered something complicated for them, clearly proud of herself.
Thrawn found the concoction no more appealing than any other iteration of the drink. However, he did learn something: caf tasted better when shared with Governor Pryce.
He couldn’t explain it, but it was undeniable. Perhaps it was the flare of confidence in her bright blue eyes as Pryce sucked on her straw…perhaps the smirk lifting her pursed, reddened lips…or the way she watched him drink, intent and hopeful that her “special brew” would tempt his resistant tastebuds.
Thrawn was very tempted, but not by the caf.
“Well, what's the verdict?” Pryce smiled, datapad forgotten on the table between them.
“Quite agreeable,” Thrawn admitted. “I plan to make this a habit.”
