#obviously I wanted Magnus Chase to win #I don't write a hundred thousand word prequel novel after reading an okay book #but I was also hoping the Kane Chronicles would come out on top #I haven't read the Kane Chronicles since I was eleven #and I don't remember much #but their fandom and supporters are still thriving after all of these years so it must be good #and Rick Riordan does do well with his trilogies #the heroes of olympus #I truly enjoyed the series and I read it when I was a teenager #wonderful storytelling #trials of apollo...#I read as an adult...#the writing...#when they needed to get back to camp...#and he danced with the bugs to fly them back to camp...#it just wasn't for me...#I am reading mcga again #and the writing is just more succint #I actually laugh out loud while reading #overall a fun time #thanks for participating in the poll if you did
