She thought she’d seen a new animal!
The cub tilted her head as she regarded the other quizzically. She didn’t speak, not for now - although she only held to Daddy’s if I see any strangers, don’t talk to them rule as far as it suited her - but rather just… observed.
Who was this, anyway? She wasn’t a Pridelander, Kiara could see that much, but… was she friendly?

Those answers weren’t going to come to her if she just remained silent, Kiara knew. But she also wasn’t sure she wanted to speak up first this time, either. For now, she just waited, wondering how long it would take the newcomer to notice her.
