• when or if I started shipping it. shortly after catching up with the manga back in september. i was briefly very upset but then i realized the beauty of the ship and never went back • my thoughts: hhhhhhhhhhhhh

i can't handle these dumb homos and how fucking well written they are and how much about them has been foreshadowed beautifully all along and their fantastic characterization and canon relationship in general. the best part is that for all we know, there is something going on there (at least subconsciously) for both sides? especially if we're playing into the theory that reiner's paired up himself and christa and bert and annie in his head as part of his delusional soldier persona fantasy he's already shown to have going on.  • What makes me happy about them:

they're rly cute and it's obvious how much they've come to depend on each other (esp bert depending on reiner) and they're just dumbass teenage boys under everything

• What makes me sad about them: they've done terrible terrible things together that really could never be made up for, and that they're not proud of, but they literally have no other choice at this point. they're in way over their heads, they've failed to take down the gate at wall rose, their comrade is gone and they have no idea what happened to her, and now they've failed to capture eren, their identities have been revealed, and even with ymir offering to help them, their options are limited and their chance at the return home they were hoping for is probably long gone

they're just stupid kids making stupid decisions out of desperation and it breaks my heart

• things done in art/fic that annoys me:

so far? honestly i haven't come across any trends in art/fic that bug me all that much. to be fair, i don't read a lot of fic, but thus far i'm pretty pleased with fanworks. even the dumb jokes. especially the dumb jokes. i laugh at them every time you don't even know • things I look for in art/fic: dumb jokes, reiner being an idiot, any kind of au where reiner could be a frat boy and listen to LMFAO unironically and sad shit. i'm all about sad shit. all day erry day • Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:  does shipping annie with both of them at once count (if not, i like annie with either of them.)

• My happily ever after for them: my ideal ending for snk where they all just talk it out and say sorry and then everyone holds hands and hugs and then they go to chuck e cheese i have high hopes isayama plans to take the story in this direction • what is their favorite non-sexual activity? if you asked reiner he'd probably make something up to sound all manly and shit but in reality, the favorite activity is CUDDLES!!! because they're secretly big babies. let's be real here, reiner would be the BEST to cuddle since he's so big and probably really warm and relaxed muscle is AWESOME to cuddle with. bert is a needy little literal noodle and falls asleep in all sorts of weird cuddling positions
