Batman wasn't as vocal as Jim, but somehow Harvey felt that the Bat had heard him, and filed those statements away somewhere. The good and the bad, building a picture of him the way the District Attorney built pictures of a defendant. Statement by statement. Motion by motion.
He had the vigilante to himself for a moment. October made the northern air cold and the sky almost lightless, despite the moon trying its hardest to shimmer gently through the clouds.
He was up on the rooftop, anyway. Where else could he find the caped crusader if not here?
"If you have anything you're itching to say to me, Bats - say it." he remarked, giving a little nod. "I know I've had a bit of an attitude lately, but I'd hate for you to think that's what I'm like all the time."
