3. how you feel about your current WIP

my friend, I have so much writer's block it's actually insane 😭😭 I keep on starting new WIPs because I'll lose steam on whatever I'm working on, so I technically have like ?? four to five?? active WIPs? I'm dying out here a little bit -- one of my friends got me started on a "steph accidentally kills her dad" fic the other day and I still haven't finished my women in comics greta&cassie longfic. and yet!!! we persevere!! 🫡

12. a trope you’re really into right now

I have, and will always be SUCH a sucker for the "you are not the person I remember loving, but I still love you" trope. I swear 90% of what I write has something of that in it somewhere -- it's part of why I love time travel and dimension travel plotlines so much! hmm... I should write more time travel plotlines....

30. share a fic you’re especially proud of

already answered here :3 but!! if we're doing another self-plug, then I will say I'm also pretty proud of how I wrote the body horror in In the eye of the beholder! getting into Kara's head and trying to imagine what a (formerly) non-humanoid being might find horrifying about human biology was so much fun

1)the character everyone gets wrong

velma from scooby doo tbh!!! like i've really hated the recent turn in scooby doo media to making her a complete cynic, when where are you scooby doo shows she's not fully opposed to the supernatural and even jokes about it at times, like i think she got thrown into the role of a cynic cause she's the "smart one" and is often the one to pull apart a mystery, but like i always felt personally velma is someone who's still fascinated by a ghost or two, and isn't completely opposed to the idea, she's just the type of person to want to know all the details about a mystery/supernatural happenings versus the recent interpretation of her character completely rejecting the idea altogether

10)worst part of fanon

the misogyny and racism in so many fanon interpretations is insaneeee, like for instance katara or nami being designated the mom in their group??? the way woc are villainized if they even speak wrong versus white men being excused even if they do the worse things (looking at you the p*tt fandom), like i can't handle the fanon interpretations of alot of tv shows cause it's so diverged from the canon, the characters are just tropes and pushed into a nuclear family structure 😔

12.)the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them

not to go into scooby again, but daphne from scooby doo ☝️, like i know she's popular due to being in scooby doo, but I feel like she's often the least popular of the scooby gang because of the bad writing she's unfortunately subjected to in some scooby doo movies, as well as alot of people just assuming she's the "pretty girl" in the group and nothing else, when in reality!!!! she's so kickass and i'd argue she's the glue of the group and daphne supremacy!!!

the instrument in the video is an array mbira! so you were right when you said it looked like a normal thumb piano/mbira, its just bigger and therefore has a larger range. if you look up array mbiras you can find a lot of different songs on youtube using them

if ur curious abt the "cis4cis" transphobe guy their explanation is basically "gay people can't be cis bc we go against gender roles (of which include being straight)" and then makes another point in that same post (its only a few down on their blog) that's like. "now if we include DYSPHORIA, MOST would be cis"
