Kristen, this must be the oddest thing, getting a present two months after your birthday, and the only thing I can say is that I really wanted to gift you something, but was unsure what to do since you'd understandably moved on from jonerys 🤗 and then I decided that I'd just give it a shot and hopefully do your new ship a modicum of justice 😅 I've never read this book series, though I do appreciate your thirst for Ben Barnes--very much as a matter of fact🔥😚

Ok so Shadow and Bone is officially my new obsession and it has led to me actually writing and posting my own fanfiction for the first time ever. 

It is the start of a multi-chapter fic which goes through season 1 from the Darkling’s point of view as I find him to be such a nuanced and compelling character. It is also going to be Darklina positive because I love them, and even though they are definitely a flawed pairing, they do care for each other.

I saw your tags on your post about how you hope tumblr doesn't die because gifing is your only skillset and you said it was irrelevant and I know you were just kidding probably and being self-deprecating but I just wanted to say your gifs bring me actual, tangible joy. Your tutorials helped me improve so much in photoshop and feel more confident using it. And your content brought so many of us in the SAB fandom together and so tldr: you are special and important and talented and anything but irrelevant so you better never sell yourself short 😘
