On the 'Violet wearing pink' topic: the kids had pre-packed clothing that they didn't buy themselves???? So there was probably some clothes with pink in her new wardrobe, and she's probably too nice to tell people that she hates pink. So she just wears it! That's my thought about the whole pink situation xD

That’s true! Even if Violet does hate pink, we can’t forget that all of the clothes the kids wear in the early books were the ugly outfits bought for them by Mrs. Poe. so it would not be out of the question for the Baudelaires to wear a lot of super tacky outfits.
