All MLP ships are like one fairly normal stable one and one who is just either unhinged or a loser gamer and the normal one is always the one with the crush and I love it.

Any thoughts on bard as a class? ... I'm biased.

the bard is a class of inspiration and influence. being paired with the prince, which is the ruling class, as a set of classes that focus on conquering and deconstruction, the bard is that which spreads the word on their aspect. they usually follow a personal doctrine whose messages they will find to be largely rejected. a bard's arc usually revolves around a personal disillusionment with their own beliefs about their aspect and what it represents to them, with them having to adopt a newer, more powerful rhetoric in order to forward their message.

at their core, what a bard does is sway the actions of others. this can cause radical changes in the direction of the story when a bard incites the rapid deconstruction of whatever they see fit. and i use "deconstruction" rather than "destruction" because the change a bard spurs, while it may result in the destruction of systems, beliefs, or physical things, it is more about the approach to the aspect and the angle they take which determines the direct consequences of the action they cause to begin with.

Can't forget that ghouls were an entire community in Fallout 1 with Necropolis and that feral ghouls weren't even hostile as a rule until Fallout 3 started to turn them into typical zombies. Ghouls are very much coded as people with deformities and disabilities and people need to realize that.

It's still worth noting that the writers of the game may not realize what they have at their disposal and will do things with them that are ill-considered. There's room for criticism of both canon and fan extrapolation; I feel in this case the jury is out until I can find someone more qualified talk about them beyond my own base assessment.

I know exactly zero about Fate and I forget why I follow you at all, but I can't unfollow because nowhere else can I become profoundly confused for a solid thirty seconds reading something weird about Cu Chulainn before remembering that Fate exists.

for context though i’d like to introduce you to cu chulainn alter

this is a cu chulainn dowsed in a bath of curses and primordial evil and fused with the corpse of curruid (or sporting a massive, barely-contained warp spasm depending on who you ask). medb (yes, that medb) mutated him to rule the american colonies with her during the end of the revolutionary war as her ideal consort and king. 

as for what medb and cu chulainn are doing approximately 1600 years in the future in another continent, they are spirits summoned by a demonic incarnation of king solomon (yes, that king solomon) to destroy human civilization by distorting certain key periods of history and creating a paradox so powerful that it incinerates time.
