When I have trouble with a decision I flip a coin, and if I'm unhappy with the outcome I know to do the other thing. Good luck, it's hard to allow yourself a sick day for mental health, but it's completely valid.
Thank you. You are a good people and the support matters a lot. <3 I need to be reminded that it is okay sometimes. I am very mean to myself. It sucks that I can’t be fucking honest about this at work.
I’m officially calling out. I didn’t sleep at all last night and I can’t deal with the stress today. I couldn’t deal with the stress yesterday and I stayed anyway and I feel like I made it worse by doing that.
Making the scary phone call now.
hey rain remember when you sent me this
Rain: Jacob came into the room singing "We'll always find a way/ and if you think we can't/ well that's defeatism and we'll have you shot as a traitor"
Funeral potatoes (also known as Mormon funeral potatoes) are a traditional potato hotdish, or casserole,[1] that originated in the Intermountain West region of the United States. People called this dish funeral potatoes because the casserole is commonly served as a side dish during traditional after-funeral dinners,[2] such as those planned by members of Relief Society[3] (a LDS auxiliary organization). Funeral potatoes are also served at other social gatherings, such as potlucks, typically in areas with a significant Latter-day Saint population in the Mormon Corridor .[4]
i feel like people might have thought i was making an off-color joke when i called the potato dish this at the memorial banquet. no way man, i take my funeral potatoes very seriously.
Talk about the rain monster :U
so rain has always been my favorite sibling and shes(are you a she, it really only occured to me to ask, sorry if ur not and ive been misgendering you)always been kind to me (that i remember) even tho she did one time try to sacrifice me to the gods or whatever when i was a baby, but really who hasnt tried to sacrifice they baby sib to a god(s) so i guess that aint that weird
shes literally the nicest person in my family and respects my pronouns and name preferences which i think is really hard for family members cause they known u they whole life so theyre used to using certain words in association with you
BASICALLY SHES THE BEST AND I LOVE HER A LOT
how do you know the-rain-monster? I didn't realize you guys had ever co-owned a cat, did you room together at some point?
we are neo-siblings! when i was 17 i had to leave home (tl;dr: meth/coke dealing brother, violence, terror, choking incident, ran for it, mom said “don’t come home”) and rain’s mom took me in and gave me a safe place to live for the next few years til the brother was in prison.
i was really fucking lucky.
