I really hate when family tries to take advantage. It's funny after all these years and finally having enough that I'm able to see through new eyes how much I've been lied to and taken advantage of. How could I have been so stupid and naive?! I know you're supposed to care about your family because they're blood, but I'm not doing that anymore. I choose my own family, even if we're not related by blood.

Sometimes I want to go somewhere just to make my purse useful. Is that normal? O.o

So my first day of externship wasn't too bad. All I really did was shadow someone and watch how to room patients. The hardest thing seems to be the software they use and documenting everything. I'm excited though, just nervous. I just hope I can talk more, I was so quiet today. So glad it's the weekend though and have a few days to get ready for a 8-5 day on Monday. It's going to be a long day I'm sure. I can't wait until I can be comfortable with it and know what I'm doing because everyone seems fairly happy working there. ^__^

Sleepy thoughts...

Why do people have to be so full of negativity? Why are they so hurtful to people they supposedly care about? Why can't we live like we're dying? Because we are, we just don't know when. Why is there suffering? People living on the streets and everyone just passes them by, acting like they don't see. This stupid society makes us live for tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes. They make you think you have to strive for greatness, work your life away, and struggle the whole way there. Sometimes I wish I could escape it, but I can't. I want to escape the money, the problems, the ignorance, just everything negative in this world.
