The Princess & the Dragon

Ok, so this is how my brain works. I was doing an outline for a fic I probably will never write, but one character is talking to another about their English homework and it goes like this...

1. What about Shrek?

2. Is my father supposed to be the ogre? Besides, it’s plagiarism. But...

1. But what?

2. There could be a dragon and a princess.

1. So the handsome prince saves the princess from the dragon?

2. The princess saves herself. And her idiot brother, the knight who pissed off the dragon because he wanted to be cool. Then the dragon turns out to be magical, because you know they are and sometimes turns into a man.

1. And falls in love with the princess?

2 Yeah, but he’s really stubborn and won’t admit it so he drives her away.

1. Then what happens?

2. The princess says, Fine, be that way, be happy alone.

1. That’s it? That ending sucks.

2. Then the princess has to rescue the dragon from an evil prince and when she’s about to walk away, because that’s what he said he wanted, he says, Stay, please.

1. I would totally read that.

So then I had to do a Princess and Dragon edit because...reasons!
