Everyone loves a good horror movie, as horror films become more and more unrealistic and usually follow the same kinda story weather thats someone being possessed or someone in a rather freaky looking mask going on a killing spree, no matter how shit they usually look we still watch them and then complain afterwards when it was ‘a load of shit’.

If you’re guilty of that then I have some good news for you, an upcoming horror film entitled “The Woods” is on its way and the first official trailer has been released.

I just have to say that the trailer doesn’t give a huge lot away like most trailers do but I think that just adds to the anticipation of seeing the film. When I watched the trailer I couldn’t understand what the hype was all about, I mean it is a bit weird but not like mega scary, the song is probably the weirdest bit about it..

So, from watching the trailer its apparent that the general plot is about a few people going in to the wood where they appear to not be alone, some people have been lucky/unlucky enough to have been able to see the film already and the reviews kinda make you wonder.

Joshua Rothkopf of ‘Time Out New York’ said the film had “moments that made me want to yank out my hair. Truly unnerving.” whilst Sam Zimmerman, of Fangoria, Tweeted that it’s, “spooky af” so obviously now were getting kinda excited!

The movie has been directed by Adam Wingard who is also the director of the 2011 scary as shit movie ‘You’re Next’ so if its anything like that one we’re in for a treat.
