‘the lost boys’ cdj + csh
@247daejung
a noise cracks just behind him, and he whirls around, eyes wide, nerves on edge, his mouth agape slightly to haul in oxygen in case of emergency. his body wants to go into fight-or-flight mode, terrified of every little movement the leaves around him make, but there’s no sign of another person. he can’t see any living creature at all, except maybe a few birds flying overhead, and he would do anything to be able to get back to the camp. something deep in his gut is telling him, he might not be able to, ever again. this could be it, the end for him—all for some stupid tv show.
what if there’s bears out here? or wolves? or worse—kim jongin?
it’s just beyond dusk and seunghyun picks up his pace. he really doesn’t want to be out here when it gets dark, but he’s lost his way off the path, having left it without even realizing. he hadn’t been looking where he was going and by the time he noticed that he was walking in the wrong direction, it was too late. the trees are high and beginning to become silhouettes against the sky, ominous and foreboding, and he feels a shiver down his spine. “hello?” he calls randomly, just to hope that someone, somewhere out there could hear him. “is anybody there?” he hates camping, he never wants to do this again.
