I decided to hop on the #thetenyearchallenge train. This is from #2009vs2019 ; Not a lot has changed appearance-wise. Honestly the biggest difference, if not the only real one, has been my confidence. I used to hide under a hat and a hoodie, any time I was in public. Even in my own home. You couldn’t find me without a hat. I figured I could hide and stop being the center of attention due to my height and the fact that no one could tell if I was a boy or a girl and it always made things awkward. Eventually I stopped giving a fuck about peoples confusion and their judgement, and I found what gave me self-confidence. I found a way to live with the fact that I’m different. Live with the fact that I’m me. And I never let my illnesses, or peoples judgements, effect how I present myself ever again. I found courage to be me. Now, I pray and hope that if any of you are suffering from a lack of confidence, that you one day find the confidence I have found. And you learn to embrace it Always remember to live authentically and happily. Always be you and be proud to be yourself. 💯 Anyway, enjoy this? ❤️🤷🏼♂️👌🏻
