Happy Friday the 13th Let me begin by stating "Happy Friday the 13th!" Many of us have been brought up in a society which insists that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day. We are told about all the things we shouldn't do on this day. We're told about all the negative things that could go wrong. What I find most interesting however is Friday the 13th actually began as a pagan holiday which was thought to be good luck. Friday the 13th was the Day of the Goddess. I wonder if the rise in misogynistic thought brought with it the transition of this day being seen as one of bad luck. Since I have been cognizant of this spiritual journey that I chose to have, I find that I actually enjoy Friday the 13th. It is thought to be an incredible day for manifestation . I feel as if this day was tainted in order that people have a negative association with this day so that they fail to take advantage of the immense power that is available on Friday the 13th. If you really stop to think about it, many of the things that are now considered "unlucky" were once considered quite lucky and powerful. Ideas like this are ways to get people to willingly usurp their power. Don't let this happen to you!
