Welcome to the 2006 Swifties project!
Starting tomorrow (10/31/17) the project will begin and swifties are welcome to join along and use the #the2006swiftiesproject !
What is the project?
Starting today, 11 days until the release of Reputation, we will be posting one photo of ourselves per day starting with a photo from 2006. Then tomorrow will be a photo of us in 2007, ect until Nov. 10th when we will be posting a photo of ourselves today!
Why 11 days?
To represent the 11 years of Taylor Swift!

Here we are the first time out of two I have ever stepped foot in the big apple and recently I’ve been feeling like New York has been waiting for me for quite some time now. Little did little me know how id beg my mom to take me to target to get fearless the day of its release and listen to it on my old CD Radio player all day and fall asleep to it every night. It kept me sane when my anxiety first started to seriously develop, I would listen to your voice every night and id focus on it instead of what I decided to worry about which at the time was someone breaking into our house and killing me. Thank you for being there when no one else knew how to help me, to this day listening to your music calms me down when I have a panic or anxiety attack, thank you @taylorswift .

Me and my ex-best friend on our 1st trip to Disney World (I’ve been back at least once a year since 2007). I remember listening to Taylor’s debut album on the short 1 and a half hour plane ride (also my 1st time on a plane). @taylorswift @taylornation

I remember hearing “Teardrops On My Guitar” on the way home from swimming in the winter, I asked my mom who sang it and she replied “Taylor Swift” and my response was “I like her.” and since then I have been a swiftie, 7 year old me chose the best role model ever and best life saver ever even when I had no idea what life had in store for me down the road. Thank you for being you Taylor.

Hey all! My name is Sarah, and I’m 28. When I was 17, a friend of mine had the lyrics “when you think happiness, I hope you think that little black dress, think of my head on your chest” as her status on MSN Messenger - I loved the lyrics so much that I looked up the song, and the rest is history. Since then I’ve been there for every release party, converted countless friends to fan, made probably too many posts on TaylorConnect, and have travelled almost 16,000 kilometres to concerts - from my small town in Nova Scotia to Cavendish PEI, Boston, Nashville, and Chicago. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I always say that there’s a Taylor song for every situation, and that’s really proved itself over the last ten years as I cried to All Too Well, danced with friends at university to You Belong With Me, and scream-sang the Enchanted/Wildest Dreams mash-up driving to work in the mornings. Thanks for giving me the soundtrack to my life Taylor!
