4, 17, 23, 35!
#4: so the first concert that I remember going to was The Moffatts in 1999. it was the first show i went to that was my own choice anyway.
#17: THAT IS A TERRIBLE QUESTION I HAVE SO MANY. I guess I’ll go with I was front row at a Hanson concert in 2007 but I was a bit to the side of the piano so when one of them was actually sitting at the piano to play instead of standing I couldn’t see them. So Zac comes out to do his solo piano song and I couldn’t see him. So jokingly I squatted down a bit and joked about watching his crotch. Someone behind me asked what I was doing and my loud mouth friend during this REALLY QUIET piano ballad yells “SHES TAKING PICTURES OF HIS CROTCH”. now this was a “club” type venue and we were like 5 feet from him. no way he didnt hear that. omg.
#23: House of Blues Chicago will always be one of my favourite venues ever. Also Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa. Both of them have special places in my heart.
#35: Actually yes. Bruised ten million times. Sick SO OFTEN. not actually throwing up but I used to do such hardcore touring that we’d be up for days at a time, dehydrated as hell, hungover, etc. I did really fuck up my toes at a Hanson concert at Summerfest in Milwaukee several years ago. I was standing on top of the bleachers with bare feet and my 3 inch wedge flip flops were left on the ground. When I sent to get off the bleachers to jump to If Only at the end of the show, in the dark I didnt see the shoes there and my toe did a nose dive for the pavement. i still continued to jump during the whole song and the rest of the encore... but afterwords my toe was SOOOO bloody and of course by then caked with dirt. I also broke my other toe in the process and the nerves are still messed up to this day.
Ask me concert questions!!!
