Hiatus Announcement until June 2012

Hi everyone, I'm so sorry this tumblr has been a little slow lately, I am overwhelmed with my university course and with my job at the moment. Instead of stressing myself out I have decided to take a brief hiatus until June (a month and a half from now), and I hope you don't see this as an opportunity to leave.

If anyone wishes to help during my downtime please send me a message and I can set you up! Thanks for being so patient!

HIATUS! - Back Jan 24th 2012!

I am very sorry to have to announce a month long hiatus at the80swererad :( This is for no other reason than the fact that I am moving home on December 27th and the internet company have confirmed that our internet wont be activated until January 24th 2012.

It's a pain! What am I supposed to do without internet?!?! Anyway, please don't leave us, we're coming back :) There may even be a few posts here and there while I'm gone as I do in fact have the internet at work :)

I'm having an 80s themed birthday! (and I need tips and advice!)

I turn 22 this month and I'm celebrating it the only way I can - 80's style! I'm getting all dressed up 80s with big hair and bright clothes, playing all my 80s records and will most likely spend the whole night quoting 80s movies! But I need help and advice to make it super amazing! Like what are all the great 80s dress types and themes etc? send me advice and ideas in my ask box!

Hello - Just a quick note

Hello, just a quick note about the80swererad.

I do not steal pictures from other tumblrs or blogs online. I use a variety of sources I have at my disposal, for instance, the wonderful lady at Ztams, and using my own scanner to add my own resources.

I specifically don't steal from other tumblrs because it's not nice. Yes, most of my posts are original posts with some reblogs here and there but I have never stolen from another tumblr.

If you have found anything on the80swererad that you think I stole please come forward politely instead of using the anonymity of the internet to be rude and make accusations. I will have no problem taking anything down if you can give me a reason too, I am a very reasonable girl.

Also, feel free to steal images from my tumblr. I really don't care if you reblog or use a image yourself. I don't do this for followers and notes, I love the 80s and am creating an archive. If you can't have a bit of fun on this internet, where can you have it!? :)
