Musing for the evening: Sharing/learning autistic stims as a mutual dialect of body language is actually ridiculously cozy/nurturing/intimate. As someone who at some uncertain point in childhood lost most access to stimming both as a mechanism for regulation but also as expression, and relearning as an adult it's actually been both humbling and beautiful how much more functional and communicative I'm starting to become again finally.
