The Wolf and the Maiden// Closed
The scent was human, but slightly different. Holly was walking home from the closing shift at the local flower shop. Her senses were clogged from being surrounded by the flowers all day and she didn’t realize she was in danger. She hummed softly to herself as she began the walk to her car in the farthest end of the dark parking lot.
The big wolf stalked the woman- the human-the prey. It was alone and that was good. In the empty lot, there would be no interference. His gold and red eyes blazing with rage and need. Food- he needed food- fresh meat. He gave a snapping bark from right behind her, baring teeth and advancing. His head reached her shoulders with ease, each step closer to his meal.
