Autumn harvest

Grim didn't understand why they had to be here in the first place, but the spirit watching over her and Ryan insisted that they both come to this small village in the middle of nowhere. They were specifically told to make sure that they 'spend they're last few minutes starving.'
She didn't understand the reasoning why, and she defiantly didn't want to be the reason why an entire village gets eradicated, but she didn't really have much choice in the manner. The spirit keeoing watch over her, Ryan, and three others, would have a hissy fit if they didn't do as they said, and their hissy fits were... scary, to put mildly.
She was sitting on a roof top, none of the starving villagers being able to see her or Ryan, and she was keeping a safe distance away from the spirit of Famine. She couldn't quite pin point why, but she didn't like him... he did something, but she couldn't remember what he had done that made her feel violent aggression towards him. Ryan had a small journal in his hand, and he was writing something in it, but she paid it no mind. It was properly something stupid, she decided.
She looked down and saw a small boy on the grounr, clutching his stomach. She sighed, and let herself fall to the ground, before walking over to him, and planning on putting her hand on his back so that she could put him out of his misery.
