Swell-niño in January.
A lot of weekends recently, have been spent in the great outdoors. I would consider it a good reason as to why I haven't gotten much creative work done, outside of my actual office. And my other freelance projects... well... they're still under wraps. January, we had a massive amount of rain in the Bay Area. This rain led to a great amount of fresh powder to play with in Lake Tahoe. Here's a few snapshots of how beautiful Lake Tahoe was in January.

More concept cover art from work that got killed. Enjoy my failures. -Roxanne
Part of my job as art director for the East Bay Express involves making multiple mockups of our newpaper covers each week. From there, a cover is decided upon between myself and our editor. Occasionally, we have input from others within the office. And on a handful of occasions, there are cover images I work on that never see the light of day; covers that I am actually kinda stoked about. Here are a handful of my rejected covers that I enjoy. Create everyday. Adventure often. -Roxanne
