I recently started a book club on Goodreads called Stu[dying]. basically, the club is for students who love to read, but have a hard time balancing their love for reading without sacrificing their schoolwork, and usually end up just not reading for most of the school year. the way that Stu[dying] works is that, unlike most book clubs where the books are monthly, we’ll be reading a book every two months. this way, everyone will be given a good amount of time to be able to read the designated book, even if you only manage to find the time to read a chapter or two at the end of the week. we’ll be able to talk about the book together through discussion boards, and even through liveshows! 

the books will be chosen through a voting process- members will post book suggestions on a discussion board at the beginning of every month, the most popular/frequent book suggestions will then be made into a poll, and members will then vote in the poll for the book. if a lot of club members have required reading/know that a certain book will eventually be required reading for them, that book could also be voted on and read together!! 

you’re not forced to read every single book that is voted on- you can choose which months’ books you’re interested in reading, and you’ll have a group of people you can talk about it with!!
