cotton candy:  three places you want to travel to?

Literally. Everywhere. It’s really hard to narrow it down - definitely Brazil, and then maybe Czech Republic, and Greece? (also japan & iceland - lol I really can’t choose)

strawberry:  a language you wish you could speak?

french! I think it’d be useful to know - I’ve actually tried many times to learn it, and I know a lot of the basics, but I haven’t had great teacher’s in the past, and I’ve kind of formed a love/hate relationship with it now RIP.

I was so into the last match that i just plain started crying my eyes out when it finished. I had to take like a 5 min break to start the last ep. And then i couldn't stop crying so i had to take the shower to calm dowm omg It was really nice and hilarious! Samee here, can't wait for the second season.

that sounds like a nightmare. i can honestly only vaguely remember learning about the provinces in like, maybe two geography classes, but it was never a really big deal and always involved crayons so it was a very, very long time ago.

anime asks: 6, 11, & 16!

6. popular anime you didn’t like

Lots, but the most recent is probably Aldnoah.Zero. I just found the plot hella boring and couldn’t get attached to the characters either, so I dropped it pretty fast. It’s really hard to impress me with any mech series in general, though.

11. anime you didn’t expect to like but did

Ooh, I really got into Maria the Virgin Witch. I started watching it out of morbid curiosity, thinking would be nothing but really gross fanservice and the sexualization of “purity” or whatever. I did NOT expect such interesting character interactions, religion and war commentaries, such a wonderful and unique female lead, good comedy, beautiful artwork, or the challenging of strong ideals. I know I sound like I’m gushing but I’m just really surprised at how much I liked this show. Wasn’t expecting that at all.

omg srsly at wcc it’s between student & teacher, & most will let you off unless the prof is esp. strict. there are so many students who do make-up exams there.

:< WELL I'm jealous. teachers are required to take attendance every day here. a certain number of tardies = a full absence; you are only allowed six absences in a 3-day-a-week class per semester; you are only allowed two absences in a one-day-a-week class per semester. or you FAIL!! and bring dishonor upon your family.

my french teacher has some funky shit in her syllabus, like, "if you have more than two absences in this class, I will drop three points from your final grade," but I'm unsure if she actually enforces that and/or if that's even applicable against the college's official policy.

can you email your prof & ask to reschedule your test for the day after or something? throw some bs in about a family emergency, they don't need to know the details -- I DO IT ALL THE TIME. I AM PRO.

I think I need a legitimate paper excuse to be able to make up the test on a different day ): my school is really strict about absences. & I can only miss two lab days a semester, so I have to be really careful about my "emergencies."
