Eight years ago tonight, I had dinner with my friend Kyle Jones and Mauricio Zatarain (Col. Batres in The Alamo - 2004) on the Riverwalk. Coincidentally, and not planned, Mauricio and I got together tonight for pizza at Grimaldi's where we reminisced about The Alamo film, our dear friends and loved ones, and what makes San Antonio great. Had a great evening over drinks and dinner with my dear friend Joe Perez. Joe portayed Colonel Juan Morales in the 2004 film The Alamo. So, naturally, we revisited the Alamo and I took Joe to the southwest corner where Morales would've struck during the Battle of the Alamo in 1836. It was a great evening; even bumping into Ned Huthmacher and Edith Pollitz on the perch! Thank you for your friendship and support over the years, Joe!
